BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS CHILD IS FATHER TO THE MAN
Was it my brother who found them, or my sister’s husband, Carl? My dad was a big BS&T fan. Annually, for the last two years, I go to see Al Kooper play live @ McCabe’s, and he trots out some tracks from “Child Is Father To The Man.

BLUE MURDER AT HOME
BLUE MURDER BLUE MURDER
BLUE MURDER ENERGIZED
BLUE MURDER LA LA LOVE
BLUE MURDER / ASTRAL BODIES ASTRAL BEAT
I love this band. I think Eric Heuseveldt gave me some of вЂem, the first few. But I saw the video for “Talk Talk TalkвЂ? and wanted everything they’d ever done. I found Astral Bodies on my own, living in Amsterdam, winter of ’91 or ’92. R.I.P., Maarten.
BLUE PHANTOM DISTORTIONS
Probably this was one Jim Hresko told me about, and…it became available to me, somehow. It was definitely offered to me, it wasn’t something I found in a store. For the late 70’s, it was expansive, maybe $25. But it’s super heavy and rather good – and the only CD of it I know about is a bootleg.
BLUE, BARRY DANCIN’ ON A SATURDAY NIGHT
In fall ’03, I got onto a glam rock kick while visiting Tokyo. This LP came from my massive motherlode of UK glam LP find at the Claremont LP swap meet in ’05.
BOBS, THE BOBS, THE
BOBS, THE MY, I’M LARGE
BOBS, THE SONGS FOR TOMORROW MORNING
I think I saw them on TV first? Warren Bowman certainly used to talk about them before I ever knew what they were.
BOND ORGANIZATION, GRAHAM LIVE AT KLOOK’S KLEEK
BOND ORGANIZATION, GRAHAM SOUND OF ‘65, THE
BOND ORGANIZATION, GRAHAM THERE’S A BOND BETWEEN US
BOND, GRAHAM MIGHTY GRAHAM BOND
I got interested in the Graham Bond Organization when I found out that Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker and Dick Heckstall-Smith were members. I remained interested after reading the book about Graham Bond and meeting Pete Brown in ’85.
BONFA, LUIZ BONFA
BONFA, LUIZ JACARANDA
BONFA, LUIZ PLAYS AND SINGS BOSSA NOVA
These are records I inherited from my dad’s record collection.
BONFIRE BONFIRE GOES BANANAS
I was told about this wonderful puzzle of an album by Philip Page, then of Austin, TX.
BONILLA, MARC AMERICAN MATADOR
BONILLA, MARC EE TICKET
I think Joe Castle was the facilitator of these two CD’s for me – “They’re instrumental stuff, he told me. OK.
BONNIWELL, SEAN BONNIWELL MUSIC MACHINE
BONNIWELL, SEAN / MUSIC MACHINE (TURN ON) THE MUSIC MACHINE
BONNIWELL, SEAN / MUSIC MACHINE BEYOND THE GARAGE
I heard “Talk Talk on the Am radio in the 60’s, and was shocked to know that this guy made more than one album! I was offered a sealed (or super clean) copy of the Warner Brothers “Bonniwell Music Machine LP in the 80’s, and went for it. And never looked back.
BONUS, JACK JACK BONUS
I was a victim of record company hype! I saw an ad for this in ’72 or so, and bought it 30+ years later, to see what it was.
